Grove Community 5K Challenge

We want to do even more to support our local community during these very uncertain times. To strengthen our community spirit, The Grove School are giving our own local twist to the ‘Run for Heroes 5k’ that has swept the nation since the Covid-19 crisis started. We will be running, walking or cycling 5km either in one go, or over a few days, and then nominating five other people to complete the challenge with the hope that as many people as possible in our community take part.

Many people in our community are finding things extremely difficult during these times of uncertainty and we want to do our bit to support our local people. We have decided to provide the option of making a voluntary donation on completion of the challenge and all funds raised will go to Market Drayton Foodbank – our target is £1000.

What do you have to do?

Once you have completed the challenge please share your success by adding your results to the post on our Facebook page @GroveSchoolShropshire

If you would like to make an optional donation, please do so by clicking on this link: Grove Community 5K Challenge

The process is really simple:

  1. Run, cycle, walk 5 km
  2. Share your success with everyone by adding your results to the post on our Facebook page @GroveSchoolShropshire
  3. Nominate 5 other people to do the challenge
  4. Optional donation to Market Drayton Foodbank by clicking here.

Let’s stand together to make our own community even stronger during these strange times.
