Speed Networking Event

On Monday, all our Year 8 students had the chance to ask questions and chat to representatives from 15 different employers, FE and HE institutions from our local area as part of a Speed Networking Event. Just some of the firms involved were Schneider, Sever Gorge Countryside, Job Centre Plus, Rocket Marketing, PM Training, Be Bold Public Relations, Capgemini, Rhienmetall, BAE Systems Land, Stoke on Trent FE College, Staffordshire University, University of Shrewsbury (Chester), Doncasters Aerospace, Shrewsbury College Group, Francescos Hair Salon and Densie McGowan from Evanji who is also our school business enterprise adviser. This was a great opportunity for our students to speak to a range of people about future careers, from a wide range of backgrounds: self-employed business people, apprentices and students. We would like to thank all our guests who attended for giving up their time to benefit our students.
