At The Grove we are proud of our tutor programme and the support it offers students. Tutor time is used to deliver a number of educational programmes; to discuss key issues around health and emotional wellbeing; to monitor progress and attendance; to recognise and acknowledge hard work and effort; and to ensure all students are prepared for the day ahead. In recognition of this, we have recently moved Tutor time to the start of the day. The school day will remain the same, starting at 8:50am and finishing at 3:00pm.

Our opening hours are from 8:40am – 3:00pm each day. This totals 32 hours and 30 minutes per week.
*Third session lessons take place after the official school day and offer students the chance to study an additional GCSE qualification. The exact availability will depend on demand, with limited subjects available.
We have a thorough extra curricular programme which invites students to take part in a range of activities during and after the school day. Details of the clubs on offer can be found here.
