Home Learning Celebration

Below is a celebration of some of the fantastic work and activities which our students have engaged with recently during their home learning. Well done everybody!

Family Collaborations

We wanted to share with you how some of the families in our school community are truly embracing this unique opportunity to bound together and do new things.

The Baird family have told us how their daughter Kaitlin has encouraged her household to become more active by utilising cycling and jogging for their daily exercise. The family have told us what a massive improvement this has made to their lifestyle as normally they struggle to fit physical activities into their busy working week. This has encouraged them to consider changing their work life balance and motivations going forward. This is fantastic to hear!

The Savill family have changed their conservatory into a creative musical space to make music together as a family. They have produced some fantastic music – check out the clip below. What an amazing collaboration!

Staff shout-out

It is always so heart-warming to hear the gratitude from parents, carers and students towards the staff here at The Grove. We have received some really lovely feedback one of which was acknowledging the work of Mr Gilmore as a form tutor. Knowing and continuing to branch out to our pupils during this time is something we pride in as a school, so receiving this message from Mr Virgo is something we had to share.

We want to hear from you!

If you would like to share any of your achievements over lockdown, please email us at [email protected] or please feel free to share your achievements with our school community in the comments section of the pinned post on our Facebook page.
