Seven students from across Years 7 and 8 from The Grove School recently took part in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge online.
All students worked very hard and had an hour to answer 25 challenging Maths problems. Special mentions must got to Jacob Savill (Year 8) and Matt Downward (Year 8) who jointly scored best in school and achieved Gold Certificates. Piers Bridge (Year 8) achieved a Silver Certificate and Hayley Partridge (Year 7), Leo Qiu (Year 8) and Henry Bourne (Year 8) all achieved Bronze Certificates.
Maths Teacher, Miss Davies wants to say; “Well done to all students who took part and I would like to thank them for taking the time to compete during their home learning!”
