Grove School Students Celebrate A Level Success and Bright Futures Ahead!

It’s been a day of smiles, celebration, and well-deserved success as our sixth form students collected their A Level results and what a journey it’s been!

This year’s results reflect not just academic achievement, but the character, resilience, and ambition that define Grove students. Whether heading to university, apprenticeships, or straight into careers, our young people are stepping into the next chapter with confidence and determination.

Headteacher, Mitch Allsopp shared: “We are incredibly proud of all our students, behind each grade is a story of individual success, hard work and resilience. The results show a positive upward trend for academic performance for Team Grove. I would like to congratulate every single one of our students for their achievements and thank our staff for their commitment to every individual. A message to our students – please remember to come and share your exciting stories and adventures with us as you move into your next chapter, thank you for being a big part of Team Grove.”

Associate Assistant Headteacher, Nicola Warrender-Dodds, who leads the Sixth Form stated “A massive well done to all of our Sixth Form students on an incredible set of results, The results are testament to the students’ determination, drive and perseverance.  I am proud of all of the achievements and what they have accomplished. This is the beginning of an exciting journey ahead for all of them and I look forward to hearing all about their new adventures and achievements. It has been a pleasure to be the Head of Sixth form for this outstanding cohort of students.”

The Grove School and Sixth Form continues to offer a learning environment where students are not only challenged academically, but encouraged to grow as confident, well-rounded individuals.

Notable Achievements:

• Sadie Harvey who will go on to study English Literature at Warwick University after achieving an A* in English Literature, A in Film Studies, A* in Sociology and A in EPQ.
• Kaiden Dobson will go on to study Law with International Relations at Sussex University, after achieving a B in English Literature, B in Film Studies, B in Photography.
• Lilly Davies who is completing a higher level degree apprenticeship, after achieving a B in Business Studies, B in Economics, B in Sociology and A in EPQ.
• Tom Coburn who will go on to study Business Management at Manchester Metropolitan, after achieving an A in Business Studies, B in Geography and B in Maths.
• Layla Marshall has secured a prestigious apprenticeship with the National Farmers Union (NFU), after achieving an A in Economics, B in English Literature, B in Sociology and A in EPQ.
