Entry Requirements for all students: 

  • A levels: Linear courses with a high proportion of exam assessment. Entry requirements of 5 x 5s at GCSE. 
  • Applied Generals – Cambridge Technicals: Vocational-themed courses with larger proportion of assessment through assignment tasks. Entry requirements of 5 x 4s at GCSE. 
  • Maths and English grade 4 or above. If you do not gain either or both of these you will be entered for resists if you achieve the other entry requirements. 
  • At Grove Sixth Form students can opt to study a combination of both A levels and Cambridge Technicals.

Overview

All Grove School students who are in Year 11 immediately before starting Year 12 and who meet the general entry requirements (listed below) are entitled to a place at Grove Sixth Form. Having a place does not guarantee places on your preferred courses. To study with us you must complete the internal application form below to indicate your subject choices.  

Grove Sixth Form is also open to external candidates. The entry requirements are the same as current Grove School students listed above.
