Home Learning at The Grove School
Home Learning, also known as homework, refers to tasks that are set by teachers to be completed outside of usual lessons. Home learning activities vary significantly, particularly between younger and older students, but not limited to home reading activities, longer projects or essays and more directed and focused work, such as revision for tests. This includes attending homework clubs and undertaking ‘flipped learning’, which includes preparing for class discussion and application tasks. [EEF, 2021]
