Bridgewater Hall Orchestra performance

Last week we took over 140 Year 7 students to Bridgewater Hall in Manchester to watch the Halle for Youth Orchestra perform. The theme for the concert was music, mind and mood. Huge praise was given for the impeccable conduct of our students during the visit and the staff have reported that they thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Comments from the students included ‘I love this music Miss’ and ‘This music makes me feel things, but there are no words’. This is a school visit that the students will never forget, and it will inspire many to open their minds to different genres of music and develop a deeper understanding of the impact that music can have on their well-being.
