The Grove School Students Receive Mock Results

Year 11 students from The Grove School in Market Drayton have been busy preparing for their end of year examinations by replicating the results process that will take place with their full examinations later this year.

When the students completed their exams, they received their mock exam results together in the hall to replicate results day which will take place on Thursday 22nd August.

The students then spent time with their Head of Year, Mr Yeomans, as they discussed revision techniques and then they all designed an individual revision timetable.

Mr. Phil Yeomans, Head of Year 11 at The Grove School, commented: “Here at The Grove School, we prepare our students in the best possible way for their end of year examinations. We understand how important it is for students to replicate the processes that will take place. We now begin the countdown towards the full exams and students all know where they need to focus their studies. The students are actively using their own slogan, which the students invented themselves of ‘work hard even though no-one is watching’.”

The Marches Academy Trust is ensuring the shared resources that supported improvements at Sir John Talbot’s School are used to support The Grove School as we approach this exciting time of year as students prepare for their exams.
