School choir VoiceBox attend The Marches Academy Trust’s ‘Big Sing’

Before the break students that are a part of our school choir, VoiceBox travelled to the Civic Centre in Whitchurch to take part in our first ‘Big Sing’ – a cross Trust event that saw a number of schools who are part of The Marches Academy Trust (Tilstock CE Primary School and Nursery, Lower Heath CE Primary School and Nursery, Longlands Primary School and Nursery, Sir John Talbot’s School and Sixth Form, Marches School and Sixth Form) come together to perform.

Mrs Brundrett; “The students had prepared a song under the leadership of one of our Sixth Form students, Jess W and their performance was absolutely superb! Our students joined in, full of enthusiasm during all the day’s activities and were such positive role models for the younger pupils that attended from our Trust’s primary schools. They were a credit to our school and our community, I am bursting with pride for each and every single one of them. The day was a truly enjoyable experience for all involved, even down to the coach travel, which we shared with Longlands Primary School. This transport was part funded through monies raised from our Grove concerts – your support of our Music Department’s events throughout the year help us to provide these fantastic experiences for our students, thank you”
